HOW BILLING WORKS
Merchant of record
Creem (creem.io) is the legal seller of your purchase: it issues the invoice and handles VAT in your country. Receipts carry its details.
VAT and receipts
Tax is added on top where it applies; the exact amount is shown at checkout, and a receipt is issued for every charge.
The trial and refunds
The first 30 days are free — cancel during the trial and nothing is charged. EU consumers keep the statutory right of withdrawal; the Terms state the rest.
Your Claude bill
Always separate. Anthropic charges you directly for the model usage; Helmry never resells it.

Do I need a Claude subscription?
Yes — Pro, Max or an API key. Helmry drives the CLI you already pay for.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
After a 72-hour grace window the app locks until you renew. Nothing is deleted — conversations and code stay in your files, and running work is allowed to finish.
What counts as a seat?
One person, unlimited devices — the only shape an offline key can police honestly.
Can my company buy several seats?
Team subscriptions are planned — one bill, seats you assign. Today each person subscribes individually.
