Windows
SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info → Run anyway. Windows 11 with Smart App Control switched on refuses unsigned installers outright and offers no override.
macOS
Gatekeeper refuses the first launch. Right-click the app → Open, or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Linux

BEFORE YOU START
What you need
A Claude subscription or API key
Pro, Max or an API key. Anthropic bills it separately — Helmry does not resell it.
The Claude Code CLI on your PATH
Helmry drives the CLI you already run; it does not ship its own model. Install it and sign in first.
git 2.30 or newer
Worktrees are how agents stay out of each other's way.
