When paid tiers land, they add capacity — more concurrent agents, team features, priority support. The cockpit itself stays usable for free.
→A seat is one person, on as many devices as they use.
→The licence is a signed key verified offline. No activation server in the boot path.
→A lapsed licence degrades to the free tier plus a banner. It never bricks the app.
→Limits are refused at the door, never applied to an agent already running.

WHEN BILLING STARTS
Merchant of record
A payment provider becomes the legal seller and handles VAT in your country. Invoices carry their details.
VAT and receipts
Prices will state inclusive or exclusive explicitly, and a receipt is issued for every charge.
Refunds
A refund window will be written into the terms before the first charge, not decided case by case.
Your Claude bill
Always separate. Anthropic charges you directly for the model usage; Helmry never resells it.

Do I need a Claude subscription?
Yes — Pro, Max or an API key. Helmry drives the CLI you already pay for.
Will the free tier disappear?
No. Paid tiers add capacity; the free tier keeps the cockpit usable.
What counts as a seat?
One person, unlimited devices — the only shape an offline key can police honestly.
Can my company buy several seats?
Yes, once billing opens. Invoicing and a single key per person are planned from day one.
